Features & Available Options Convenient data sharing & distribution The C351's versatile network scanner scans colour images at a speedy 38 pages/min.* and converts the data into PDF, TIFF or JPEG files. These files can be easily attached to e-mails or sent to servers and PCs. To greatly reduce storage space and minimise network load, Konica Minolta's compact PDF function allows users to easily handle data-heavy colour documents. Furthermore, the C351 lets you send data to multiple destinations simultaneously, enabling you to handle it efficiently. Efficient data handling with Box function With the Box function, users can store copied documents, faxes, and scanned data in the C351's large-capacity hard disk drive. Up to 3,000 documents or 9,000 pages can be stored in the Box. The stored information can then be distributed or reprinted at any time. Swift network printer The C351's high-speed network printer functions enable it to deliver superior prints at 35 pages/min.* in colour or in black & white. The printer language is compatible with PCL XL and PostScript3, allowing smooth output in a multi-platform environment. The optional Fiery printer controller allows the C351 to meet the DTP needs of demanding graphic users. Powerful data security The C351's superior security functions help you minimise security risks and safeguard your valuable information assets. Its advanced network security includes functions such as password protection and IP filtering, network authentication, data communication encryption and complete erasure of data on the hard disk drive. The user authentication function lets managers authorise or restrict use of the C351 on an individual basis, even in a serverless environment. Flexible document output With the optional PC-402, the C351 holds up to 3,400 sheets, plus all paper feed trays can accommodate thick paper, up to 256 g/m². Printing on postcards, envelopes, and OHP film is also possible by using the first drawer and Multiple Bypass Tray. Standard duplex function and other finishing functions such as sorting, stapling, hole punching, folding, and saddle stitching make it easy to create professional-looking documents. Superior image quality Particular emphasis has been placed on providing the C351 with the reproduction capabilities that are most needed for business documents. The C351's character zone micro-separation technology distinguishes the outer edges and interior space of each character as well as its background, and applies optimal compensation processing to each part to achieve sharper and clearer reproduction. In addition, the C351 uses oil-free Simitri™ polymerised toner with highly uniform 6.5-μm particles, giving your documents a natural, sophisticated look with reduced glare.
